A tale of progress forged by human hands.
From the industrial revolution's birth,
To the dawn of the digital age on Earth.

Steam-powered engines, pierced the veil of night.
Harnessing the force that set machines alight.
Factories emerged belching smoke up high.
As progress danced with dreams beneath the sky.

Oh, the wheels kept turning, the gears aligned,
As mankind sought to shape a world undefined.

Electrons danced in circuits, a brand new frontier,
As the age of electricity drew near.
Telegraph lines hummed with messages of hope,
The swing of innovation's pendulum began to scope.

Transistor's birth brought a digital dawn,
Computers emerged, silicon minds reborn.
Bits and bytes whispered secrets untold,
As technology's grip tightened its hold.

But amongst the wonders, a cautionary sign,
For the path, we led left scars behind.

But progress, oh progress,
A double-edged sword, unveiling wonders,
Tarnishing what we adored,
Cities grew taller swallowing the land.

Progress, oh progress,
Concrete jungles rose burying nature's hand... We demand a better future...

Progress gives us a new way to live, and then we want more.
Progress gives us new desires and new ideas, but we want more.

My Fellow citizens
After all these difficult times
We deserve to be treated better

We have learned from our errors
We have paid the price with our lives
We deserve a better future

Progress gave us steam power
Progress gave us electric power
Progress will give us calculation power
We will build a better future
For us and the next generation
We demand a better future !

We will get a better future
Even if it twill need hard work
We demand a better future for the sake of the world


Then the siren's call, a relentless chase,
Yet in our haste, we left behind a troubled space.
The Earth, our home, in need of care and grace,
A time to rethink our path, and the future to embrace.

Oh, the wheels kept turning, the gears aligned,
As mankind sought to shape a world undefined.
We led left scars behind.

But progress, oh progress,

Cautionary tale, a debt yet unpaid.
Between human inventions and wars, we want more...

Progress will take us towards a new future.
We don't know where this will take us,
